There are increasing numbers of projects involving kids and youth in the area. The recently formed Youth Forum has been set up to encourage participation by youth in decision making in the area as well as being an organisation which distributes small grants and encourages the development of programmes. Contact Philip, Sayria and Sandra on 01274 749009 or Click here

Other prominent youth organisations are listed under Youth Clubs and Organisations.

For younger children there's plenty of provision too with a Sure Start scheme in the West Bowling area and
nurseries in schools and various community centres.

For holiday play schemes and activities ring youth centres.
