| Trident Extended Schools Community Partnership | |
The Schools Community Partnership, or TESCP for short, delivers a wide range of after school, weekend and holiday activities for kids in the area. TESCP also organises courses for adults held in schools and centres. Here’s the latest news… Get Fit & Healthy… There is no better time than the New Year to start a new activity. So if you wish to get fit, take up a new activity, or just want to come for a bit of fun then this is for YOU!! The activities on offer are Ju-Jitsu, Health & Fitness and Breakdance. The sessions are taking place at Newby Space, Mayfield Centre and Park Lane Centre on a Saturday morning. The sessions will run over a ten week period and are starting on Saturday January 17th. The sessions are fun and exciting and a great way to learn new sports and activities. They are also a fantastic way of keeping fit and healthy. To sign up your child for one of these sessions contact James Heddon on 01274 435491 or 07813 045930.These first block of ten sessions has already taken place and these activities have been enjoyed by lots of youngsters already. Big Kick-Off The inter-school football league has kicked off its new season with reigning champions St. Josephs playing Newby and St.Stephens in the first round of fixtures. The games are being played at Parkside Sports Centre and this season we have also introduced a knockout cup competition. Good luck to all the schools!! Volunteers & Workers Wanted Get Involved!
