PARKLANE
   NEIGHBOURHOOD ACTION GROUP

What is the Parklane Neighbourhood Action Group?
The Parklane Neighbourhood Action Group is a group of local residents and workers who come together on a regular basis to help improve life in our community.

What is the aim of the group?
We aim to get local people involved and work alongside the council, police, the NHS and Education Bradford and other service providers to improve the delivery of services in the area. From our recent consultations with residents we updated our Action Plan which provides a clear focus of what, how, when and who should be responsible for making changes happen.

What we have done already. Since 2003 we have..

  • Created the Holme Top Lane Community Garden
  • Installed security lights in 50 homes.
  • Organised summer play activities
  • Given free anti-crime equipment to local people attending forums
    and Neighbourhood Action Group meetings.
  • Worked with other Neighbourhood Action Groups in the district.
  • Helped organise the Peter Sanders Exhibition at the Hilton Hotel.
